The thermal, fluid, and electromechanical aspects of electric water pump design are included in this model. Particular attention is paid to analysis interactions. This model is intended as a test problem for multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO). Detailed equations are provided to facilitate replication. Please direct any questions to James Allison.
